Dr. Rita Williams is the heart and soul behind both F1NE-TUNE and F1NE-TUNE’s Treasure. She founded F1NE-TUNE in 2014 to help educators refine their craft and better serve students, colleagues, and communities. Rita loves partnering with schools and districts to design customized, interactive professional learning experiences that are engaging, practical, and immediately applicable to classroom and leadership practice.

Passionate about turning professional learning into professional doing, Rita brings energy, empathy, and expertise to every session she designs and facilitates. She is humbled and proud of the stellar reviews and steady referrals that F1NE-TUNE continues to receive.

Rooted in her belief that effective professional learning transforms both teaching and culture, Rita’s work emphasizes equity, collaboration, and sustainability. Her doctoral research focused on Black males and the systemic structures that impede their progress—a study that fuels her ongoing work through F1NE-TUNE’s nonprofit, F1NE-TUNE’s Treasure. She is determined to empower educators to create inclusive, high-impact learning environments for all students and is thrilled by the nationwide leaders who have come alongside her to do the same.

When she’s not partnering with educators or serving the community, Rita enjoys traveling stateside and internationally, making memories with family and friends, hiking, karaoke, and doting on her fur baby, Mackenzie Cherie Williams.
